Gunther Fruhmesser

Günther Frühmesser was born 25th August 1958 in Dusseldorf. His father was a well-known painter and taught his son Günther how to prepare the colours on his palette when Günther was just 12 years old. When he finished elementary school he immediately began to paint landscapes and floral work. While he went on to further his education at university, studying political economy, (he graduated in 1986) he still devoted all his leisure time to his art. In 1987 he spent one year in England and Scotland studying the old masters in the major galleries. He has had work exhibited in Germany, Austria, Great Britain and USA.
