Herman Schafer Herman Schafer was born in 1900 in Paris. He studied at the Ecoles Germain Pilon, and continued his art studies at Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs and Ecole Nationale et Supérieure des Beaux Arts of Paris. He obtained many prizes and medals from the Sociétaire of the Salon des Artistes Français. Schafer was a member of the Salon d'Hiver, Art Libre, Paysagistes Français where he exhibited frequently, as well as in the most prestigious French cities. His paintings can be found in Chili, Argentine, USA and Canada as well as his homeland France and the UK. (VAT not applicable)
